| Casting Details: | S.P.I.D theatre company and Transient Film Exchange are casting their feature film, THE AFFECTED.
The film is supported by the Film Council and builds on their award winning collaborations with the BFI and the BBC.
The following roles are being cast:
Jacob, 16-19, sensitive and posh, starts out naοve and awkward but becomes a brave, good man
Laura, 16-19, pretty and self assured, but incapable of deep feeling
The Tempter, 16-19, cocky and self assured, but capable of feeling deeply.
The following roles are supporting:
Affected youths x 3, 16-19, apart from feeling greed, they are without emotion
Youths x 2, 16-19, male, cocky and stupid, from a council estate
Friend, female, 16-19, cocky but clever
Po po Jase, 20-30, not terribly bright
London cabbie, 30-40, well built
Mums x 2, 30-40, from a council estate.
Cast will receive varying fees depending on the roles; cast will also be provided with a DVD copy of the film.
Auditions are on February 6-7 and 19 in Ladbroke Grove. Workshops take place on February 15/16 and 19, with shooting from April 3-18. Reshoot dates are May 1-2; 8-9.
